As according to plan Pettinaroli will move into new assembly warehouse in Middelfart before summer reducing transportation and environment impact.

In a short while Pettinaroli will assemble underfloor heating systems locally and as a result save the environment from every fifth truck shipment from Italy to Denmark. Before summer our new 999 square meters assembly warehouse will be ready and used for assembly of our underfloor heating systems.

Up until now all systems have been assembled in Italy and then shipped to Denmark in boxes containing a lot of air. By packing all components separated and doing the assembly locally in Middelfart, we are able to eliminate every fifth truck delivery. It is an important step towards a more sustainable business procedure – for us and for our customers.

The construction of the new warehouse is going according to plan. Next step is to set up storage racks and before summer we can assemble and pack our underfloor heating systems here in Middelfart, Denmark. This will reduce transportation and environmental impact with up to 30% while at the same time creating extra jobs and better conditions for our local production.

The building will be officially inaugurated in September.

With the opening of the new assembly warehouse we will look for 4-5 new employees during the next 18 months – putting our total of staff to 24 in Denmark. The expansion is part of Pettinarolis long-term growth strategy and we look forward to welcoming new colleagues to our team.

Apart from the new assembly warehouse we also invest in digitizing our procedures in order for us to optimize our operation and release ressources to increase our sales activities. These actions will help us navigate in a time with increasing interests and decreasing demand in the construction industry and we have an optimistic outlook on the future.
